Job summary

Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at Canal Pointe in Akron, OH is hiring a Full-time Housekeeper/Laundry Aide. This in-person role supports all departments with cleaning, laundry duties, and general facility upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all laundry equipment.
• Deliver soiled linens to laundry; sort, wash, dry, fold, and return clean linens.
• Clean laundry room, sorting and managing soiled linen tubs.
• Waste and trash removal.
• Dry and wet mop of all floors.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas and dust surfaces.
• Buffing, waxing, and stripping floors as needed.
• Deep cleaning and assisting in moving rooms as needed.

Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at Canal Pointe is hiring a Full-time Housekeeper/Laundry aide. This position works with all departments to ensure a clean facility. Regular daily cleaning will include but not be limited to cleaning all rooms and common areas in the facility.

Some job duties include but are not limited to

• Operate and maintain all laundry equipment.
• Delivers soiled linens to laundry; sorts, washes, dries, folds, and returns clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms.
• Cleans laundry room, sorting, and soiled linen tubs.
• Waste and trash removal.
• Dry and wet mopping of all floors
• vacuuming all carpeted areas
• General cleaning & dusting of all surfaces
• Buffing, waxing, and stripping of all floors as needed
• Deep cleaning and assisting in moving rooms as needed
