SGMC is looking for a part-time Environmental Services worker at the Main Campus in Valdosta, Georgia. This role involves daily cleaning of patient rooms, lounges, and clinical areas to maintain a sanitary environment. ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
Part Time, 8 HR Day Shift, Friday-Sunday 7:30am-4:00pm OR cleaning
POSITION SUMMARY To perform daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, bathrooms, elevators, stairwells in a clean and sanitary manner in accordance with the standard housekeeping procedures. Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department. Participates in the department’s performance improvement activities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Comfortable routine working conditions with the possibility of irregular schedule including weekends. Exposure to certain levels of stress. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Exposed to hazard of burns and cuts due to working with hot equipment. Constant standing or walking with regular periods of concentration.
