Job summary

Responsibilities

• Clean patient care areas, offices, lobbies, and restrooms as assigned.
• Apply infection control practices and PPE usage.

• Maintain organization of cleaning supplies, carts, and equipment.
• Adhere to department standards and participate in quality inspections.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Cleans and services patient care areas, offices, lobbies, bathrooms or other areas as assigned.
• Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards.
• Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues and other concerns.
• Practices proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures. Maintains proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions.
• Maintains closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly and good working condition.
• Maintains department’s standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback.

Education Requirement

High School graduate or equivalent, required.
