Fulltime Housekeeper at Springfield Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center

Springfield Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team for DAY or EVENING shifts. The ideal candidate must be able to interact tactfully and effectively with patients, families, staff, and visitors. This position requires standing for 7-8 hours, lifting heavy objects, and working with standard cleaning chemicals. Responsibilities include:

1. Cleaning patient bathrooms
2. Emptying garbage cans
3. Cleaning patient rooms, hallways, walls, furniture, and equipment
4. Following established cleaning schedules
5. Loading washers
6. Gathering and folding/storing laundry
7. Operating washing machines and dryers according to policies
8. Performing other duties as assigned

We are a 146-bed facility with a home-like environment and a new 30-bed rehab wing. We have received the CMS 5-star rating for several years!
