• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions.
• Location: Ochsner West Bank - 2500 Belle Chasse Highway, Gretna, LA 70056. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; days and hours may vary. Five days per week, rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Pay Range: $12.00 to $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as needed.
• Realigns furniture and amenities per layout.
• Responds to guest and staff queries and housekeeping requests.
• Addresses spills and broken items promptly.
• Contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
