Job summary

Frederick Living is seeking a Housekeeper to support residents by performing cleaning procedures in accordance with policy and maintaining a clean, safe environment at our community. This full-time role runs 80 hours biweekly, with shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, and occasional holidays and weekends.

On-site training will be provided to ensure adherence to infection control and QA programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• No experience required, but on-the-job training provided.
• Demonstrates respect, integrity, compassion and excellence.
• Commitment to person-centered care practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with Frederick Living policy.
• Observe waste disposal and recycling procedures.
• Assist in proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunction to supervisor.
• Record daily resident interactions when performing duties in Cedarwood.
• Abide by the organization’s code of conduct in the performance of duties.
• Perform other related duties as required.

What You’ll Do

• Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with Frederick Living policy
• Observe waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with Frederick Living policy
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment
• Identify and report any equipment malfunction to supervisor
• Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor
• Dispense soap, paper and housekeeping supplies, as necessary
• Follow all infection control procedures in accordance with Frederick Living policy
• Attend in-service programs, complete assigned online courses
• Follow and maintain the Q.A. program as defined by supervisor
• Record daily resident interactions when performing duties in Cedarwood
• Abide by the organization’s code of conduct in the performance of their duties
• Perform other related duties as required
