Job summary

Frederick Living seeks a dedicated Housekeeper for a full-time role (80 hours biweekly) with a 7:00am-3:30pm schedule, Monday–Friday, including some holidays and weekends. You’ll perform cleaning, manage supplies, and support resident independence while following infection control and QA protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with policy.
• Observe waste disposal and recycling procedures.
• Assist in proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions.
• Record daily resident interactions while performing duties in Cedarwood.
• Adhere to the organization’s code of conduct.

What You’ll Do

• Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with Frederick Living policy
• Observe waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with Frederick Living policy
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment
• Identify and report any equipment malfunction to supervisor
• Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor
• Dispense soap, paper and housekeeping supplies, as necessary
• Follow all infection control procedures in accordance with Frederick Living policy
• Attend in-service programs, complete assigned online courses
• Follow and maintain the Q.A. program as defined by supervisor
• Record daily resident interactions when performing duties in Cedarwood
• Abide by the organization’s code of conduct in the performance of their duties
• Perform other related duties as required
