Job summary

Bentley Commons is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments for residents in Hackettstown, NJ. You will clean apartments, common areas, and assist with laundry while upholding infection-control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or environmental services preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and follow established cleaning procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize tasks.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments according to established schedules and standards.
• Clean and maintain common areas, offices, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Perform resident laundry services as scheduled.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and remove trash.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and notify supervisor when items are needed.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Properly use and store cleaning products and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, or safety hazards.
• Respect residents' privacy, personal belongings, and living spaces.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
• Assist with additional housekeeping and community duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
