Job summary

The Village of St. Edward is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper at our Wadsworth Campus to maintain clean, safe and welcoming spaces. You will support laundry and general housekeeping tasks and work with care to meet our cleanliness standards.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, with a weekend obligation one weekend per month. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods and work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Possess the necessary dexterity to operate levers, buttons, machinery, etc.
• May stand on feet for long periods of time.
• Reliable transportation.
• May be scheduled every other holiday.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeper is responsible for keeping assigned areas and equipment clean, sanitary and aseptic by scouring, scrubbing, polishing, using germicides and wet dusting.
• May assume responsibility for floor care, laundry or Independent Living housekeeper.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.

Summary Of Position

May assume responsibility for floor care, laundry or Independent Living housekeeper. Able to work independently with little supervision.
