Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 124-bed acute care hospital located in Sparks, Nevada, is seeking a full-time Housekeeper for a dayshift schedule. You will clean all areas of the hospital, operate and maintain equipment, and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.

This Houseskeeper opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient dayshift schedule. We are looking for a housekeeper to clean all areas of the hospital.

Participates in the department's continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs cleaning and maintenance of all ares of the hospital.


• Performs restoration functions on highly soiled or worn areas


• Performs assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.


• Operates and maintains all equipment correctly and safely.
