Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center, a Universal Health Services hospital in Sparks, NV, is seeking a full-time Housekeeper. The position involves cleaning patient rooms, nursing units, offices and public areas on a 40-hour work week with full benefits and a convenient schedule.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, proper chemical use, waste disposal and strict infection control practices. The role also participates in performance improvement activities to maintain a safe, sanitary environment

Qualifications

• One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.

This Housekeeping opportunity is full time @ 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient flexible schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Housekeeper to clean all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities.
