Job summary

Willow Springs Center is seeking a full-time housekeeper in Reno, Nevada. The role supports a facility dedicated to youth ages 6 to 17, with a schedule Friday through Tuesday, 6:00am–2:30pm. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with linen handling and laundry operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a health care setting or related experience, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred. UHS supports growth across 300+ locations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years of related experience. Experience working in a health care environment a plus.
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Follows all procedures for cleaning areas in the RTC and Outpatient facility.
• Ensures chemicals are contained as required by policy.
• Utilizes the appropriate equipment when cleaning in the facility.
• Vacuums, dusts, and cleans services as required by procedures.
• Ensures chemicals are mixed in accordance to required compositions.
• Refills all paper products as needed.
• Reports unsafe or broken equipment to Plant Staff for repairs.
• Understands “Lock Out “procedures.
• Retrieves soiled laundry from the units.
• Ensures clean linens are available for use at all times.
• Follows all OSHA Standards on handling laundry.
