Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to clean all areas of the hospital in accordance with policies and procedures, with a flexible evening shift schedule. The role includes performing routine cleaning, using approved chemicals, and handling waste in a sanitary manner.

Qualifications

• One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
• Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions.

This Housekeeping opportunity is part time @ 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient flexible evening shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Housekeeper to clean all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities.
