Job summary

Stone Bridge Center for Health & Rehabilitation, affiliated with National Health Care Associates, seeks a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, healing environment for residents and staff. This entry-level role offers growth opportunities in long-term care and a chance to contribute to residents' comfort and well-being.

You will perform daily cleaning, manage supplies, and collaborate with team members to ensure safety and cleanliness across resident rooms and common areas. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing common areas and resident rooms.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dispose of trash and waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff to maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffing machines and vacuums.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

Qualifications of a Housekeeper include:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols, infection control, fire prevention and safety measures in long-term care are highly valued but not required; training will be provided
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
