Job summary

Beacon Brook Center for Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an entry-level Housekeeper in Naugatuck, CT. You will help create a clean, healing environment for residents and guests, performing daily cleaning tasks and supporting care teams.

You’ll learn cleaning protocols and safety practices while contributing to high cleanliness standards and a compassionate, resident-centered atmosphere.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing common areas and resident rooms.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dispose of trash and waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff to maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.

What You’ll Do:

As a Housekeeper, the clean, healing environment that you create will improve the comfort and well-being of our residents, guests and team. This entry-level position also offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn more about long-term care and its many career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing common areas and resident rooms
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas

• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a safe and organized environment

• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffing machines, vacuums, etc.

What You’ll Bring:
