We are hiring immediately for a full-time HOUSEKEEPER position at NLH Acadia, 268 Stillwater Avenue, Bangor ME 04401. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full time, 7:00am - 3:30pm or 3:00pm - 11:30pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!

Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as needed.
• Realigns furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Responds to guest queries and requests, including spills and broken glasses.
• Contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
