Job Opening: Housekeeper

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Housekeeper positions at Lehigh Valley Hospital, located at 1337 Blue Valley Drive, Bangor, PA 18072. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time shifts, days may vary, typically from 5:00 pm to 1:30 am. More details will be provided upon interview.

Pay Rate: $16.25 per hour.

Job Summary

Perform light cleaning duties to maintain hospitals, hotels, and restaurants in a clean and orderly manner. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
2. Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
3. Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
4. Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
5. Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
6. Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
7. Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of waste hygienically.
8. Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
9. Wipe down glass surfaces.
10. Make beds and change linens as needed.
11. Realign furniture and amenities according to layout.
12. Respond to guest queries and housekeeping requests.
13. Address spills and broken glass promptly.
14. Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.
