HCF is seeking a Housekeeper to perform daily housekeeping tasks across the community and support our residents and staff. The role emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and compassionate service within a caring work environment.

As a member of our team, you will follow established policies, maintain clean spaces, and assist with laundry as needed. We offer on-the-job training and opportunities for growth in a supportive, family-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing ability, good visual acuity.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in similar roles welcomed, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow all HCF policies and procedures.
• Clean, wash, sanitize and dust resident rooms, offices, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Meet job-related competencies per manual.
• Empty trash and waste into proper containers.
• Follow safety policies and infection control practices.
• Move and arrange furniture.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
• Cross-train as laundry worker for special assignments.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Must follow HCF Policies and Procedures.
• Clean, wash, sanitize and dust resident rooms and care center offices, bathrooms, hallways and common areas.
• Must meet job-related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual.
• Empty trash/waste into proper containers.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures during daily tasks.
• Attend required in-service education.
• Keeps utility, storage areas and equipment neat and clean.
• Follows appropriate Infection Control and Universal Precaution practices when performing department procedures.
• Moving and arranging furniture.
• Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
• Cross training as laundry worker for special assignments.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and have good visual acuity.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
