Job summary

Warren Manor is seeking a dependable Housekeeper for the 2nd shift (Wednesdays and every other weekend). You will perform daily housekeeping tasks across resident rooms, care center offices, bathrooms, hallways and common areas, following safety and infection control policies.

We value compassionate team players who can communicate effectively with residents, staff and visitors. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; training will be provided to new hires to ensure outstanding

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and have good visual acuity; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to be trained for duties and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures and maintain infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Follow HCF Policies and Procedures.
• Clean, wash, sanitize and dust resident rooms, care center offices, bathrooms, hallways and common areas.
• Meet job-related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual.
• Empty trash/waste into proper containers.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures during daily tasks.
• Attend required in-service education.
• Keep utility, storage areas and equipment neat and clean.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions practices.
• Move and arrange furniture.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
• Cross training as laundry worker for special assignments.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must follow HCF Policies and Procedures
• Clean, wash, sanitize and dust resident rooms and care center offices, bathrooms, hallways and common areas
• Must meet job related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual
• Empty trash/waste into proper containers
• Follows all safety policies and procedures during daily tasks
• Attend required in-service education
• Keeps utility, storage areas and equipment neat and clean
• Follows appropriate Infection Control and Universal Precaution practices when performing department procedures
• Moving and arranging furniture
• Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors
• Cross training as laundry worker for special assignments
• All other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, write and have good visual acuity. A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
