Job summary

Capital Vacations, LLC is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain high levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction at our Lahaina resort. The role requires performing general cleaning duties, replenishing supplies, and assisting guests with requests while adhering to procedures.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and prioritize guest experience, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a collaborative work style in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Previous hotel-related experience desired.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Enters and prepares the room for cleaning.
• Dusts the room and furniture, vacuums carpet, and mops floors.
• Cleans bathrooms, removing soil, dirt/soap build-up, and hair from fixtures.
• Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies in correct location.
• Cleans closets and door tracts, replaces hangers, blankets and pillows as needed.
• Removes dirty bed linen and makes the bed with clean linen.
• Performs rotation cleaning duties (steam-clean carpets, etc.).
• Anticipates guests' needs and responds promptly to inquiries and requests.
• Monitors cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.
• Follows standard operating procedures and strives for guest satisfaction.
