Shady Grove Medical Center is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for our Environmental Services Department to support our mission of compassionate care. You will perform cleaning tasks, ensure rooms meet standards, and monitor supply levels as part of a patient-centered service team.

Typical schedule is an Evening Shift with full-time hours. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and respectful interaction with diverse patients and staff in a faith-based healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Able to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Advanced knowledge of cleaning products.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility and dedication to team environment.

• A high school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment safely and properly.

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Notify supervisor or manager on any damages, deficits and disturbances
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with supplies
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $22.79 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
