Adventist HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Fort Washington Medical Center in Maryland. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in all assigned areas, following established Environmental Services procedures.

Typical shift is evenings, 3pm–11:30pm, with rotating/variable hours as needed. Requires 1 year housekeeping experience; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Housekeeper – Fort Washington Medical Center

Fort Washington Medical Center seeks to hire a Housekeeper who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

• Perform the day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services Department to ensure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
• Perform daily cleaning of floors and carpets in all assigned areas. All work to be done by following standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department to ensure a clean and wholesome environment.
• Be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Must be familiar with the use of detergents, germicides, and other cleaning/chemical supplies.
• Collect, pack, and dispose of trash according to established procedures.

• A high school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience. Ability to communicate at a level, which allows for safe and efficient job performance.
• Ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment safely and properly.

Employment Type: Variable Part-Time

Typical Daily Schedule: Evenings, 3pm – 11:30pm (May be requested to work other shifts as needed.)

Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.48. If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
