Full-time , Days/Evenings , 8a-430p

Hours/Pay Period: 80

FTE: 1

Housekeeping – CVI – Rehab at Hartsfield Village (Powers Health)

Schedule:

Full-time: includes every other weekend and alternating holidays

Good communication skills and willing to work a flexible schedule

Areas of Responsibility:

Under supervision and in accordance with established schedules, procedures and safety standards, performs housekeeping and laundry service duties necessary to maintain the facilities patient, non-patient, and public areas in an orderly, safe sanitary and attractive condition, Including:

• Dusting, Mopping, Sweeping, Vacuuming, Wiping down surfaces, Trash Removal, replacement of soaps, sanitizers, and other supplies
• Responding to urgent cleaning needs of Staff and Residents to help maintain a clean, safe and attractive environment
• Assist with and work in Laundry, following all necessary established infection control procedures and safety standards

Knowledge and Abilities:

Must be able to regularly stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, and crouch. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to communicate effectively in English both in writing and verbally to residents and team members. Must possess strong Teamwork ethic along with effective communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform required competencies (skills) for this position within allotted time frames. High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Related experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
