Job summary

Powers Health is seeking a Dining Server for CVI at Hartsfield Village Independent Living. The role focuses on serving residents in the dining room in a professional and timely manner to promote a pleasant dining experience.

The position is part-time with weekend and holiday shifts; there are opportunities to learn and grow within the dining services team. Benefits include a 401(k) with employer match, wellness program, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and/or server experience preferred.
• Interested in learning and growing your skill set.

Responsibilities

• Serves the residents in the dining room in a professional and timely manner
• Maintains professional demeanor, cheerfulness and helpful attitude with all residents and guests in the dining room
• Knowledge of menu selections and proper steps of service and cleanliness
• Maintains cleanliness of all service areas including refrigerators, counters, shelves, racks, and trays
• Keeps all service areas stocked with juices, butter, creamers, and condiments
• Performs pre-service set up and post-service clean up including setting and bussing/clearing tables

SHIFT: Part-time: 7:30 am – 2:00 pm/4:00 pm – 7:30pm (includes weekends and holidays)

The Dining Server is essential to the cleanliness, comfort, and communication of the dining areas.
