Central Regional Hospital
We are currently recruiting for multipleHousekeeping positions at Central Regional Hospital In our Enviromental Services Department on all shifts.
The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations governing Central Regional Hospital, and as may be instructed by the Director and Administrator of Enviromental Services/Housekeeping Supervisors to assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. This is a support position designed to meet the sanitation and safety need of the patients, staff and visitors. Job duties include but are not limited to:- Picking up all trash from the areas assigned to them and disposing of it properly throughout the shift.
- Help with set-up for patient activities.
- Cleaning and sanitizing of patient's rooms, offices, bathrooms, and showers.
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing hard surfaces
- Cleaning walls, woodwork and light fixtures.
- Cleaning and sanitizing of bathrooms, ensuring they are maintained in sanitary conditions, replenishing paper supplies and soap as needed.
- Duties may include physical activities such as moving furniture.
The normal work hours are as follows:
7:00am-3:30pm (
including alternating weekends and holidays.)3:00pm - 11:30pm(
including alternating weekends and holidays.)11:00pm-7:30am (including alternating weekends and holidays.)These are full-time positions and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement. This position is designated

Managment prefers:
1 year housekeeping experience, in hospital environment.
