Newton Village, a Cassia community, is seeking a Housekeeper/Caregiverto join our team.

This unique position offers the opportunity to help create a clean, welcoming environment for residents while also receiving training to provide caregiving support when needed. If you enjoy staying active, building relationships, and making a positive impact each day, this could be the perfect fit for you.

As a Housekeeper/Caregiver at Newton Village, you'll help maintain resident apartments and common areas, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and inviting community. You'll also be cross-trained as a caregiver to assist with resident care needs as staffing demands require. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and enjoys working as part of a team. Position Type: Full-Time

Shifts Available: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm

Location: 110 N 5th Ave W, Newton, IA 50208

Housekeeper/Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Provides carpet and floor care in resident rooms and common areas.
• Disposes of trash from common areas and resident rooms.
• Additional dutiescan include cleaning windows, moving and arranging furniture.
• Crosstrain as a caregiver and assist with resident care needs when needed.

Housekeeper/Caregiver Qualifications:

• Prior housekeeper experience preferred, but not required. We'll train you!
• Willingness to learn caregiver responsibilities and assist residents as needed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing excellent service to residents.
