Newton Village is actively hiring CNAs to join our compassionate team in Newton, IA. Full-Time or Part-Time positions are available with Day or Night shifts at the facility located at 110 N 5th Ave W, Newton, IA 50208.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with ADLs, monitor vital signs, document care, and collaborate with RNs and other CNAs to deliver quality care. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities within Cassia’s nonprofit mission.

Qualifications

• Current IA Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Newton Village, a Cassia community, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team in Newton, IA. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Newton Village, you will assist with ADLs for our residents, which include toileting, bathing, dressing and other activities of daily living. You will work collaboratively with other CNAs and Nurses to assure quality care for our residents.

Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Shifts Available:

• Day: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm (Part-Time or Full-Time)
• Nights: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am (Full-Time)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:
