Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, linen, towels, and more.
• Enter guest rooms and prepare them for cleaning using the designated room key.
• Collect soiled linen for laundering and replenish guest rooms with bath supplies, glasses, and amenities.
• Ensure thorough cleanliness of rooms by dusting furniture and fixtures, vacuuming carpets and upholstery, and mopping and polishing floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including shower stalls, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and tiles.
• Strip and re-make beds with fresh linen.
• Perform regular room checks to identify and report maintenance issues for prompt repair.
• Restock linen storage rooms as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a hotel-related setting is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems, multitask under pressure with minimal supervision, and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and a well-groomed appearance in all situations.
• Applicants must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.

Physical Requirements:

• Proficient in reading and writing English.
• Effective verbal communication with staff members and customers.
• Capability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to retrieve, read, and interpret information from technical sources.
• Stamina to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, and kneel for up to 5 hours.
• Lift up to 50 lbs with assistance, occasionally lift 30 lbs, frequently lift 20 lbs, and constantly lift 10 lbs.

Equipment Used:

• Our housekeepers use a variety of equipment, including vacuums, hand trucks, laundry bins, linen bags, boxes, and roll-away beds.

Working Conditions:

• Your work hours may vary; most housekeeping shifts are 8 am-5 pm, encompassing weekdays and weekends with 2 consecutive days off. While primarily indoors, you will travel outside from room to room in inclement weather. Your safety is our priority, and we expect you to follow all safety policies and practices diligently. Possibility of exposure to inclement weather, potentially hazardous chemicals, solvents, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, misdirected golf balls, and sharp and rapid equipment movement.
