• We are hiring immediately for a full-time HOUSEKEEPER (AMBULATORY SERVICES) position.
• Location: Oceans Behavioral - 4579 South Eason Boulevard, Suite B, Tupelo, MS 38801. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Tuesday and Thursday - Saturday. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs specialized cleaning duties to disinfect ambulatory healthcare facilities, including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Disinfect surfaces with provided chemicals.
• Dust and polish furniture, fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges.
• Clean reception glass and entrance windows.
• Move chairs, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment on wheels, scales, and other items for proper cleaning; realign items according to layout.
• Clean floors through sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming; perform carpet and upholstery spot cleaning.
• Collect and dispose of trash and biohazardous waste; perform routine cleaning of waste containers.
• Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other supplies.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean, working condition.
• Work with alarm systems to arm and disarm.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
