• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Ambulatory Services Housekeeper positions.
• Location: NMHS - 830 South Gloster Street, Tupelo, MS 38801. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Monday - Friday. Multiple shifts available: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm, or 5:00 pm - 11:30 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs specialized cleaning duties aimed at disinfecting ambulatory healthcare facilities, including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, and specialty areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Disinfect surfaces with provided chemicals.
• Dusts and polishes furniture, fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges.
• Cleans reception glass and entrance windows.
• Moves chairs/stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment on wheels, scales, and other items for proper cleaning. Realigns items according to recommended layout.
• Cleans floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming. Performs carpet and upholstery spot cleaning.
• Collects and disposes of general trash and biohazardous waste. Performs routine cleaning on waste containers.
• Replenishes soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other supplies.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Works with alarm systems to arm and disarm.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
