Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environments in our healthcare setting. The role requires physical activity through the shift, including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and reading English labels.

The Housekeeper position will perform a wide variety of duties to maintain an environment that is aesthetically pleasing while maintaining maximum bacteriological control. This position requires the ability to be active for the entire shift which may include standing, walking, stooping, twisting, lifting, bending, pushing and reaching. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to read and write English and interpret measuring and hazard instructions on labels. Must be able to do basic arithmetic.
