UnityPoint Health – Meriter is hiring a Housekeeper to clean, move, stock, and manage waste to keep a safe, sanitary healthcare environment.

The role requires English literacy and basic arithmetic; HS diploma or GED preferred. Shift is Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation; compensation $19.56 per hour. Benefits eligibility.

• Perform cleaning and floor care across hospital areas.
• Move, stock, and remove waste and recyclables.

The Housekeeper position is responsible for a variety of duties such as; cleaning, moving, stocking, waste and recycling removal, floorcare, and exchanging cubicles. The housekeeper must have the ability to perform a wide variety of duties to maintain an environment that is aesthetically pleasing while maintaining maximum bacteriological control. Housekeepers must have the physical and mental ability to perform tasks related to the position.
