Job summary

UnityPoint Health – Meriter is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities include cleaning, moving items, stocking supplies, waste and recycling removal, floor care, and exchanging cubicles.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to follow hygiene protocols. Two shifts are noted, with a normal 40-hour week and rotating evenings, weekends and holidays as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English and interpret measuring and hazard instructions on labels.
• Must be able to do basic arithmetic.

• Compensation: $19.56+, eligible for shift differentials

The Housekeeper position is responsible for a variety of duties such as; cleaning, moving, stocking, waste and recycling removal, floorcare, and exchanging cubicles. The housekeeper must have the ability to perform a wide variety of duties to maintain an environment that is aesthetically pleasing while maintaining maximum bacteriological control. Housekeepers must have the physical and mental ability to perform tasks related to the position.
