Job summary

The Housekeeper position at UnityPoint Health Meriter is responsible for cleaning, moving, stocking, waste and recycling removal, floorcare, and exchanging cubicles. The role requires the ability to perform a wide variety of duties to maintain a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment while upholding infection control standards.

Hours are 28 per week, with a M-F schedule and every other weekend and holiday rotation; compensation starts at $19.56 per hour plus potential shift

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English and interpret measuring and hazard instructions on labels.
• Must be able to do basic arithmetic.

• Cleaning, moving, stocking, waste and recycling removal, floorcare, and exchanging cubicles.
• Maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment while ensuring maximum bacteriological control.

The Housekeeper position is responsible for a variety of duties such as; cleaning, moving, stocking, waste and recycling removal, floorcare, and exchanging cubicles. The housekeeper must have the ability to perform a wide variety of duties to maintain an environment that is aesthetically pleasing while maintaining maximum bacteriological control. Housekeepers must have the physical and mental ability to perform tasks related to the position.
