As a Housekeeping Aide, you are a vital part of our environmental services team, helping improve the lives of our patients and residents daily. Your responsibilities include:

1. Picking up, sorting, washing, drying, and delivering residents’ personal clothing, towels, washcloths, and bed linens as scheduled.
2. Completing minor repairs on resident clothing, such as replacing buttons, repairing hems, or patching torn clothing.
3. Labeling new resident clothes.
4. Removing lint from dryers after each use.
5. Notifying your supervisor of supply needs or equipment repairs.
6. Maintaining a clean and organized laundry room.
7. Performing additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Required qualifications:

• At least one year of experience as a laundry aide or housekeeper, preferably in healthcare.
• Attention to detail and initiative to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
