Description

Executive Housekeeper

Summary

Assist in managing the work activities of all Housekeeping, Laundry, and Houseperson associates.

Qualifications

Six months to one year of related experience and/or training; a one-year certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Conduct opening procedures and distribute work assignments.
  2. Inspect guestrooms to meet cleanliness standards and ensure proper stocking of amenities.
  3. Update guestroom status in the Property Management System.
  4. Inspect all public areas for cleanliness.
  5. Maintain proper supply levels and organization in storage closets.
  6. Log and store Lost and Found articles properly.
  7. Keep hallways clear of trash and guest service equipment.
  8. Perform housekeeper duties as needed.
  9. Assist with food quality and sanitation standards if applicable.
  10. Maintain effective departmental communication.
  11. Perform administrative tasks like inventory, payroll, and purchasing.
  12. Ensure cleanliness of the department and surrounding areas.
  13. Check fixtures, equipment, and room conditions, report deficiencies.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Assist in supervising all associates in the Housekeeping and Laundry departments, including hiring, training, performance appraisals, and resolving issues.

Requirements
Education and Experience

6 months to 1 year related experience or training; college or technical school certificate preferred.

Computer Skills

Basic knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Word.

Ability to read and interpret safety and operational manuals; communicate effectively.

Mathematical Skills

Basic arithmetic and ability to interpret data and graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Apply common sense and problem-solving skills to carry out instructions and resolve issues.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move, and work at heights, and perform physical tasks with or without accommodations.

Work Environment

Exposure to chemicals, dust, and moderate noise; work in public areas.

Salary

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
