Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community in West Columbia, SC is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join our caring team. The role involves daily cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

Compensation starts at $14.00 to $18.80 per hour, commensurate with experience, and the position includes benefits, paid time off and tuition reimbursement as part of our values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• Housekeeping experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Keep campus clean and well maintained.
• Clean/polish furnishings, dust, vacuum, sweep, and empty trash throughout campus including resident apartments.
• Follow work and cleaning schedules to maintain a safe, clean environment.

Responsible for keeping campus clean

The primary purpose of this job is to performday-to-day housekeeping duties assuringthat our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. The duties may include but are not limited to: cleaning/polishing furnishings, dusting, emptying trash, vacuuming, and sweeping throughout campus and including resident apartments.It is important thatwork/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical. Candidates should have housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare facility.
