Job summary

The Grandview, located within Erickson Senior Living's community portfolio, is seeking a reliable housekeeping teammate. You will clean resident homes and common areas, using appropriate equipment to maintain a welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. The Grandview offers health/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with 3% match, meal discounts, education assistance, and growth opportunities within our expanding

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in residential or commercial settings preferred.
• Ability to operate carpet and hard floor care equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate housekeeping vehicles safely.
• Ability to demonstrate professional interactions with residents, staff and visitors.
• State regulations applicable to housekeeping duties may apply.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident homes in Independent Living or Nursing Home areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of community through equipment use.
• Clean public bathrooms, including fixtures and mirrors.
• Clean lobbies and living rooms; vacuum, dust, de-clutter, trash removal.
• Clean classrooms; dust, vacuum, wipe boards, arrange furniture.
• Assist with trash collection, bagging and disposal; replace liners.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces; extract, vacuum and dry as needed.

How you will make an impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What you will need

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
