Job summary

The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living invites you to join as a Fitness Specialist. You will assess residents, monitor programs, and develop personalized exercise plans that address flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular health.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
• Personal Training Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fitness assessments including vital signs.
• Prescribe appropriate exercise programs for flexibility, strength and cardio.
• Educate and evaluate residents on proper exercise techniques.
• Coordinate and implement wellness programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe fitness area for residents.
• Build strong relationships with residents and staff to promote activity.

Location: The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Fitness Specialist to join our team. The Fitness Specialist will assess, monitor, and develop individual fitness programs for residents.

Compensation

Compensation: $21 to $26 per hour, to commensurate with experience

How you will make an impact

• Performing fitness assessments which include vital signs.
• Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training.
• Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques.
• Assisting with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe fitness area for members.
• Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.

What you will need
