Position SummaryThe Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the Clubhouse and related facilities to ensure member and guest first and lasting impressions are one of impeccable cleanliness and no detail is too small.Part-time position; Friday, Saturday and SundayPosition Responsibilities - Typical duties are (not a complete task list):Replace/position all furniture to Club standard after eventsDusting all furniture and fixturesCleaning of floors (vacuuming, moping, sweeping, etc.)Empting wastebaskets and ashtraysDisinfecting surfacesClean and polish brassWashing of windows and mirrorsSpot shampoo carpetsCleaning VentsWipe/clean all window sills, walls, light switches and other surfacesReplace light bulbsClean and sanitize toilets, sinks, tiles, tub, shower walls, fixtures, etc.Cleans, polishes, buffs floors, walls, baseboards, door handles, etc.Restocks towels, supplies, equipmentWashes, dries and folds laundryStock and restock member areas and storage roomsFollow all Club policies, procedures, and rulesPerforms other appropriate tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager or Senior ManagementImmediately reports all damage, needed repairs or malfunctioning equipment to the Facilities ManagerPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis Club has both Full and Part-Time positionsDaily work hours are dependent upon business and will vary from week to weekThe position regularly requires weekend work and occasionally long hours and/or spit shifts.Required Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED equivalent desirable.Must be able to read and comprehend product labels, MSDS sheets, and work ordersOne year of comparable work experience is preferredJob Knowledge, Core Competencies and ExpectationsKnowledgeable about maintaining, cleaning and preserving a wide variety of surfaces is preferredAbility to follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies, as wells as, from the Facilities Manager or GMAbility to learn and perform required role in emergency situationsAbility and desire to be a positive influence and team member, assist others when able, and interested in developing themselvesWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to:Year-round exposure to both inside and outside conditions being exposed to typical weather for the regionAirborne particlesSlippery walk areasSteep inclinesMoving mechanical parts, and vibration.Hazardous chemicalsSharp objectsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met while performing the essential functions and duties of this position.
