Role Description

The Housekeeper role is a full-time, on-site position based at Best Western Plus Gold Poppy Inn in Tucson, AZ. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing linens and amenities, and ensuring all surfaces meet cleanliness standards. Daily tasks include handling laundry such as washing, drying, and folding linens, reporting maintenance issues, and following safety and sanitation guidelines. The role also involves interacting with guests in a professional, courteous manner, responding to requests, and coordinating with the front desk and other hotel staff to ensure rooms are ready on time. Housekeepers are expected to follow established procedures, attend trainings as needed, and consistently uphold brand standards for presentation and hygiene.
