Job summary

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, NY is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, residences, corridors, and common spaces according to resort standards.

Responsibilities include refreshing accommodations by replacing linens and amenities, identifying maintenance or safety needs, and keeping carts and supplies organized for each shift. Availability on weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Previous housekeeping or hotel operations experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

What You’ll Do Includes:

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, residences, corridors, and common areas in accordance with resort standards

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $20/ hr

Schedule: 5 days per week, scheduled days may vary based on business needs

_The ideal candidate is legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis, without a specific end date._Previous housekeeping or hotel operations experience preferred. The role requires the ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding, repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Candidates should have knowledge of proper linen handling, waste disposal, safety and sanitation standards, and the ability to operate housekeeping equipment. The ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential. Availability for weekends and holidays is required, along with strong reliability, time management skills, accountability, and a positive, professional, team-oriented attitude.
