Housekeeper – The Blake at The Barclay at Vero Beach IL

Primary Responsibilities of the Housekeeper

• Responsible for ensuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Performs routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements.
• Uses and maintains equipment properly, transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area and replenishes supplies as required.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Desire to work with seniors required.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule; including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
