Job summary

The Blake at Lafayette, part of QSL Management's senior living portfolio, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary facility. Work hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends to support the team and residents.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, offices, lounges and corridors, using proper chemicals and equipment, and restocking supplies. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a caring attitude, and a willingness to serve

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Use and maintain equipment properly, transports trash and hazardous waste to disposal area.
• Replenish supplies as required.

We are currently looking for a Housekeeper for The Blake at Lafayette

Primary Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

• Responsible for to assuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Performs routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements
• Uses and maintains equipment properly, transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area and replenishes supplies as required.

Requirements

Experience

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Desire to work with seniors required
• Must be able to work flexible schedule; including weekends and holidays as scheduled
