Job summary

Avera Prince of Peace-Skilled Nursing is seeking a Regular position for a dedicated cleaner to maintain a clean environment across patient rooms and public areas. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include comprehensive cleaning, stocking supplies, and ensuring a respectful, safe environment for patients and staff. Prior housekeeping experience and basic computer skills are preferred; weekend hours may be

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in assigned areas (patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, lobby areas).
• Participates in cleaning activities including dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and trash removal.
• Keeps assigned area stocked with supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).
• Maintains stock on cleaning carts with wet and dry supplies.
• Maintains good customer relations at all times.
• May sort, wash and deliver linens.

Position Highlights

Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm; 80 hours 2 weeks

Every third weekend and holiday 7:00am-3:30pm

A Brief Overview

Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas which may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.

What You Will Do

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
• Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
• Maintain good customer relations at all times.
• May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, Or Work Experience
