Job summary

Avera is seeking a dedicated custodian/housekeeper for the Sioux Falls facility. You will maintain a clean environment across patient rooms, offices, lounges, and halls, performing routine cleaning tasks and stocking supplies. You will join a multidisciplinary team supporting patient care and comfort.

The role requires 1–3 months related experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to work 3:00pm–11:30pm with occasional weekends/holidays. PTO and benefits apply per policy.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Equivalent.
• One to three months related experience.
• Able to work the hours specified and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean environment in patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, elevators and lobbies.
• Performs dusting, washing, mopping, vacuuming and trash removal.
• Keeps carts stocked with supplies and maintains cleanliness of linen delivery.
• Maintains good customer relations with patients and staff.
