Job summary

Snow Mountain, LLC is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional to provide exceptional service in guest rooms and public areas at Lassen Volcanic National Park, CA. You will follow the supervisor's duties worksheet and perform routine cleaning tasks with attention to quality standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning check-outs and stay-overs, reporting repairs, stocking carts, and assisting with linen handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year housekeeping experience preferred.
• Resort/National Park experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow duties worksheet provided by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Clean check-outs and stay-overs, including changing sheets and towels, emptying trash, dusting, scrubbing, vacuuming and waxing.
• Report damaged or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor, turn in all lost and found items to Management.
• Notify Management and Maintenance of any repairs.
• Stock personal cart daily with cleaning supplies, guest supplies and linens, alert supervisor if supplies run low.
• Unload cart of dirty linens and trash at end of shift.
• Assist in the unloading of linens bi-weekly.
• Weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning projects as assigned.

Snow Mountain, LLC is located in the spectacular Lassen Volcanic National Park in California. As one of the country's oldest national parks, Lassen is consumed with gorgeous hiking trails, picturesque lakes that afford fishing and kayaking, and cabins and campgrounds for the those that want to experience the rustic feel of the beautiful outdoors!

Summary of Position

Provide excellent customer service to guest rooms and public areas in accordance with Quality Standards

Responsibilities

• Follows detailed duties worksheet assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Clean check-outs and stay-overs, including; changing sheets and towels, emptying trash, dusting, scrubbing, vacuuming and waxing according to procedures
• Report damaged or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor, turn in all lost and found items to Management
• Notify Management and Maintenance of any repairs
• Stock personal cart daily with cleaning supplies, guest supplies and linens, alert supervisor if supplies run low
• Unload cart of dirty linens and trash at end of shift
• Assist in the unloading of linens (delivered by truck) bi-weekly
• Weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning projects as assigned

Position Requirements

• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. with frequent bending, twisting and squatting required.

Education and Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: One (1) year of housekeeping experience preferred
• Resort/National Park experience preferred
