The Cove Rockport is seeking a part-time housekeeper to maintain guest rooms, public areas, and laundry duties. You will ensure rooms meet the hotel’s standards and assist guests with services and on-site technology.

Ideal candidates have strong cleaning knowledge, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to read and write English. Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with morning availability in a year-round boutique setting near downtown Rockport.

Responsibilities

• Maintain common spaces, including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms
• Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and help with laundry as needed
• Track rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed
• Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel’s standards before guests arrive
• Answer general questions from guests regarding hotel services and local places to see
• Assist with helping guests understand door locks, HVAC controls, and other on-site tech
• Extra cleaning, such as deep cleaning, windows, and steam cleaning

Description

We’re in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, and performing other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly organized professional.

This job is part-time with an expected 24 hours each week, mornings from 9:30 am to about 3 pm.

Weekend and holiday availability a must. We are open year-round.

Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
