Job summary

The Cove Rockport is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to uphold a safe, welcoming environment for guests and colleagues. This role covers routine maintenance, minor repairs, and preventative upkeep across the hotel, with flexibility for weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC troubleshooting, and responding to requests promptly while maintaining logs and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders when needed.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest areas and public spaces.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment in good condition.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Inspect systems and identify maintenance needs before issues arise.
• Maintain logs and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Assist with renovations, fixture installations, and room setups.
• Ensure safety procedures and hotel policies are followed.
