Job summary

Chateau Retirement Communities in Renton, WA is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team, supporting residents with clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces.

You will follow a daily cleaning schedule, handle common areas and resident rooms, and collaborate with care staff to maintain a warm, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
• Able to read, write and communicate in English
• Must pass a DSHS background check (some negative actions are acceptable)

• Follow a daily cleaning schedule that includes vacuuming hallways and common areas
• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms according to weekly schedule
• Remove trash and change dirty linens from resident rooms
• Inform supervisor of depleted supplies and repair needs

Wage: $21.57 - $25.57 per hour, DOE

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm

A Day in the Life

Follow a daily cleaning schedule that includes:

• Vacuuming hallways and common areas
• Cleaning and sanitizing public restrooms and elevators
• General building cleaning as needed
• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms according to weekly schedule
• Remove trash and change dirty linens from resident rooms
• Inform supervisor of depleted supplies and repair needs

Requirements

• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
• Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident’s best interests
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Must pass a DSHS background check (some negative actions are acceptable)
